Born in St-Jovite (now Mont-Tremblant), Québec, Canada

Luc graduated with a B.Sc. in science, and a D.D.S. from McGill University, Montréal, Québec, Canada. He then worked in private dental practice from 1983 to 1992, and started his IT consulting business in 1985. He founded JLP Consultants in 1992, to service large corporate clients such as KPMG Peat Marwick, Fannie Mae (Federal National Mortgage Association), Chase Manhattan Bank foreign trade division (Hong Kong), and Warner Lambert with IT consulting, multimedia and software programming services. He has been a self-employed consultant since 1985.

A dynamic and passionate speaker, Luc also offers conference services and courses on a wide variety of subjects to groups large and small.

With wide-ranging interests in technology and business management he offers a different and innovative approach to the traditional consulting business.
